Bringing a new type of BYO to you!

BYOC – Bring Your Own CUSHION

Do you have a chair that needs a makeover? Is there a cushion that no longer matches your decor? Update your chairs without having to purchase all new ones!

PAINT on fabric can make all the difference…

…and we’ll teach you how. You can create a new look for your room without breaking the bank! We know how to do it right and can guide you on your way to a beautiful “new-to-you” furniture.

No reupholstery needed. But if you insist, there will be a staple gun available at your disposal.

We will teach you the techniques of using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® on your cushion. We’re here ready with all of the supplies you’ll need. If you don’t love it, no worries! You can paint right over it.

Please Bring:

  • A chair cushion (cushion only, please)
  • Your vision for your space
  • Your enthusiasm for the project
  • A snack/lunch

Please note, we will NOT be reupholstering the cushion during this class. We will be covering the existing fabric with paint.

All painting materials will be provided.

Refreshments will be served….and the traditional BYO is also welcome!

Space is limited for this long awaited, hands-on workshop so register soon. Advance registration required.

This class will be held in the Funk & Junk store.

Description:
For 2 years, Funk & Junk has been a fixture in Lambertville, NJ, just off Rt 179 (in the teal building around the corner from Sunoco). We are located in what was the private residence and saloon of one of NJ’s first female mayors, Lambertville’s Mary Sheridan. The historic detailing of 19 North Franklin is evident in the large display windows and saloon type French doors. We couldn’t have picked a better place to call ‘home’. We can't wait to host you for our class! If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask. To return to the homepage, please click here.
